AI-Assisted Simulation-Based Modeling (Agent-Based Modeling): from simple interaction rules to emergent collective behavior

During the YADESA summer school in Istanbul, I had the opportunity to teach a six-hour session covering topics ranging from agent-based modeling to LLM agents for social simulations, with a focus on opinion dynamics and LLM-based social simulations.

The session combined theory and practice. Students were required to develop a project, and my role as a tutor was to review their work, offer suggestions, and provide practical feedback.
